and said he’s busy preparing to start when the Titans (1-1) visit the New York Giants (1-1) on Sunday. Young says he was upset about being benched for the fourth quarter in last week’s 19-11 loss to Pittsburgh when trailing 16-3.
He said he isn’t sure if it will happen again, but he isn’t worried about it.
“I haven’t the slightest idea man,” Young said. “I go out and play the game. That’s pretty much it. That’s all I can do.”
Young went from being the NFL’s top-rated passer after the opening week to watching from the end of the bench as backup Kerry Collins(notes) rallied the Titans in the final minutes of the game against Pittsburgh. Young turned the ball over three times.
Fisher said Young had a great practice and is going to play well Sunday. The coach plans to talk to his quarterback sometime this week and that Young easily can prevent being benched again.

last couple years,” Fisher said. “This was a one-time thing, and I discussed it. There is no sense in rehashing it.”
RENTON, Wash. (AP)—Seattle linebacker Leroy Hill(notes) will miss several games with an injury to the Achilles’ area of his right leg.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll didn’t give specifics Wednesday about Hill’s injury. It was originally announced as a calf strain but Carroll said it was more in the Achilles’ area.
Hill has been wearing a protective boot since being hurt early in last Sunday’s game against Denver.
Hill was making his season debut last week after being suspended by the league for the season opener against San Francisco. Hill was suspended for one game following his arrest in Georgia on a marijuana possession charge.
ST. LOUIS (AP)—St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Clifton Ryan(notes), who missed last week’s game because of migraine headaches, was held out of practice.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo said Wednesday the team was awaiting results of medical tests from a second opinion. He was hopeful Ryan would return to practice Thursday.
Safety Craig Dahl(notes) also was held out after sustaining a concussion in a helmet-to-helmet hit with Raiders running back Darren McFadden(notes).
Dahl, who had a concussion last year, said he was still a little light-sensitive. San Francisco 49ers jersey
Spagnuolo said Dahl had passed all tests thus far and could return to practice on Friday.

Wide receiver Laurent Robinson(notes) (foot) was limited, and Brandon Gibson(notes) and rookie Mardie Gilyard got snaps with the first string.
Rookie tight end Fendi Onobun(notes), a sixth-round pick who played only one season of college football at Houston, also took snaps with the starters. Billy Bajema(notes) (knee) and Michael Hoomanawanui(notes) (ankle) are both out, and Onobun expects to make his debut on Sunday against the Redskins.
