Teammates contribute to miscues of Eagles’ Kevin Kolb

After Kevin Kolb's(notes) 11-for-25 performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, one might think there are serious concerns in Philadelphia about his ability to lead the Eagles this season. After all, Kolb hasn't thrown a touchdown pass in six quarters of nfl throwback jerseys exhibition play.
But the Philadelphia Daily News reports Kolb's play has been set back by drops—wide receiver Jeremy Maclin(notes) had two Friday against the Chiefs—and the team's inability to block blitzing linebackers.
That said, Kolb hasn't been accurate enough and hasn't been able to overcome challenges so far.
Eagles Pro Bowl DE Trent Cole(notes) has a mild ankle sprain and is day-to-day after being injured Friday. An MRI exam on Saturday revealed no structural damage.
Wide receiver DeSean Jackson(notes) left the game with a neck strain, but the Daily News said he remained on the sideline as a precaution.
