Universal's newest signee, Michael Barber, a producer, song-writer, and MC is armed with the one thing that many people would love to have, a co-sign from rapper, Nas. Barber is also set to release his debut on his own imprint, ECP Music Group before he launches his debut on Universal nfl throwback jerseys . That project which is 14 songs of all self produced material titled, The Purple Aces Project, was heard by the rap legend Nas last week at UCLA for the Reggae Fest.
Nas gave the five songs he heard a thumbs up, and stated that Barber was "an artists to look out for," and also went on to say, "He (Michael Barber) is an artist that I will be seeking production from in the future and we will be working together again, real soon."
Barber and Nas teamed up for the 2008 vinyl release of cheap nfl jerseys the Sony Remix to "Kick in the Door".
Barber's newest reggae summer jam, "Laid Back" is gaining FM radio play, and has the internet buzzing. The anticipation for the Purple Aces Project a release with now world famous DJ, DJ Fade, is so big that it became a trending topic on twitter last week.
Barber spoke on Blogtalk nfl jerseys Friday and again on 98.1 out of Oregon on Sunday talking about the upcoming release. Barber has been both a touring musician and studio musician over the last five years working with the likes of the rock groups, The Doors, Hinder, and even engineering with rock great Axel Rose on his Chinese Democracy album.
